Tuition and Financial Aid
At Golden Gate University, your experience makes a difference.
The cost of earning a degree shouldn’t keep you from earning a better living. That’s why we designed a grant program specifically with adult learners like you in mind.
Introducing the Undergraduate School Grant
Here’s how it works:
Beginning Fall 2019, if you carry at least six credits a term as a new part-time student, you’ll receive a 30% tuition discount (that’s $462 per unit).
Plus, we offer several other financial aid options along with personalized financial planners to help you graduate with the lowest debt possible.

Transfer Credits
We give credits, where credits are due.
We care about what you’ve learned, whether that’s in the classroom at a previous college, training in the military or on the job in the real world. You worked hard to get where you are today. You deserve credit for that. And we’re here to ensure you get where you want to go.
We also make transferring your credits easy. Our helpful enrollment advisors are on hand to review your academic and work experience to help you get the most credits you can transfer with your transcripts from previous institutions, ACE-recommended training and certifications, CLEP, DSST, AP, Prior Learning Assessment, Study.com and more. This means you can finish your degree faster and it even lowers your total tuition cost.
